The drawing reflects a flux of ideas related to the two rivers and is partly based on research material sent by Vikram Soni, an astrophysicist in Delhi. It has become an important element in the creation of the perfume and each bottle addresses another question related to the Elbe and the Yamuna.

For Bottles of Thought a vitrine was converted into a light table and covered with a drawing and a selection of photographs taken in the Hamburg harbour area and the Heuckenlock nature sanctuary in Wilhelmsburg near Hamburg.
